Emirates Cup Winners 2012

Hamilton Aquatics competed in the first Emirates Cup this weekend at the Hamdan Bin Mohamed Bin Rashid Sports Complex coming away with the Top Club and an impressive medal haul.  The meet was split in to two sessions with the younger swimmer competing in the morning and older swimmers in the afternoon.  Yet again Hamilton showed their dominance wining a total of 89 medals - 31 Gold, 34 Silver and 24 Bronze.  As the meet was not our highest profile competition of the season, the swimmers were encouraged to take more responsibility and take ownership of their swimming.  This was done in a professional and fun manner and resulted in some very fast swims and many PBs.
